What is voice of 82? We are members of Teamsters Local # 82 in Boston. We believe that all members of our union should be heard. This web site was created to give all our members a chance to speak out. Wether you post anonymously or you chose to use your name is entirely up to you. The past record of the current union leadership in regard to opposition is clear. They will stop at nothing to squash all who oppose them. For this reason, those who choose to post anonymously should not be looked down on. 
     We believe that the current leadership of Teamsters Local # 82 has to go. Yes, every single one of them. They have failed in representing the members. Our current leadership acts more like a disciplinary body than a true union. The oath of office that every member of the current leadership has taken is ignored on a daily basis. Our union needs to become a democratic and representative body. We need to rid our union of corruption, nepotism, and misrepresentation of our members. We feel that this web site will assist our members in becoming more informed and aid in ridding corruption from Teamsters Local # 82.
