truckdriver I have never hidden the fact. Like I have said before, how many members of Local 82 can honestly say that they have never worked for a non union company in their entire lives? There are some and my hat goes off to them, but the majority of members of our local have worked for non union companies before. So this shocking revelation of yours, has no effect on the average member. Have you ever worked for a non union company truckdriver? Your answer will have no credibility if you do not identify who you are. Truckdriver, you probably don't even drive a truck for all we know. I could go on about how certain relatives of our union leader worked for non union companies for years that compete directly against Local 82 Companies in the same industry. But, I won't go there, it's beating a dead horse, and I will not let you drag me into being negative all the time, like yourself. I got fired from both non-union companies that I worked for. I was fired for standing up for my rights and those of my co-workers. I understand as much as anyone how important union representation is. The only difference between you and I is that I demand excellence from our union leaders. You are satisfied with mediocre leadership. For the price that we as members of this union pay, we deserve a lot more. We deserve better representation, we deserve leaders that SERVE US, we deserve better benefits, and we all deserve to be treated with respect and dignity from all of our leaders and all of the employees of the union. If a member asks for a copy of a contract, bylaws, or any other document, it should be a simple process to provide that member with what he or she wants. Our union leaders forget, they are here to SERVE us, it's not the other way around. If elected, I will be happy to serve the members, and do my best to provide them with anything that I can. I always try to help people, it's my nature. If you are against me, and I am lucky enough to be chosen to serve the members, don't worry. I will work hard to prove to everyone, even those that can't stand me, that the members made the right choice.

Like I said, my hats off to them, but they are not even close to the majority of members of our local. Your statement however has absolutely no credibility and no merit, because you my brother are afraid to identify yourself. Well I think Johnny-boy is letting everyone know that his strategy this coming election is to lump his opponents in with Joe Wright thinking is really a "bad" guy. The problem is that Perry's stock has sunk so low the members don't care about Joe Wright who is starting to come off as a guy that just made an honest mistake. Perry spun off Joe Wright to get in last time. It won't work again.

You can have the Joint Council 10 Executive Board all there and we can ask each and every one of them if their intent was to find out the truth at the hearing, or cover it up. Try and spin all you want truckdriver, I know the truth. Why don't we publish the transcripts from the case and seek the truth. The transcripts exist, it would be very simple to make them public. Your side doesn't want them to be public, because they have more to loose than they do to gain. Truckdriver, talk is cheap, let's see the documents. You know you can get them. The entire document, not just a little section. Put your money where you mouth is truckdriver. Remember at the hearing , when I asked our union leader a question and he responded with "none of your f___ing business"? I do.

Truckdriver, so you admit to not knowing anything about it, now we finally see the truth. I don't expect you to understand it, but giving some leeway is in the rules. It is a protection that is offered to the average member. The reason for this is that someone realized that an average Teamster going to a Joint Council hearing would be at an incredible disadvantage. The rules call for the Joint Council to give some leeway to the member in the proceedings. I will research it and post it here.

I am poseidon, independently for president. If you are who I think you are, we have had our disagreements. Thats what it's all about, lively debates about the issues. We may disagree on some things, but I have never doubted your intelligence and commitment to what you believe. All I want to do is serve the members and be an officer that is relentless about enforcing our rules and contracts. I would also run the union meetings completely by the rules, and question everything that I am required to sign. Again, not to cause friction, but to ensure that everything is being done in the best interest of the members. I don't think anyone in this union, even my detractors, believe that I would be a rubber stamp. Our union is in desperate need of a system of checks and balances.
