WOW! absolutely disgusting, officials in other locals who were overheard recently saying " this guy has no f$cking clue, on how to negotiate a simple f$cking contract!" I think his book should be pulled, for saying the words " six year contract". Whats the matter uncle Johnny, you don't think the companies have enough? Is this how you crapped out Pat Geary, all those years of eating management's shit? ...you dumb chink!

Let's see he gave the companies an hour back each day by changing the starting time and making it flexible for the companies benefit from between 7 and 8.This move has cost us hundreds of thousands of dollars thru the years. He allowed Freeman to institute a attendance policy that will eventually see people being fired after three strikes. He had the movers sign a contract that will keep them on the bottom of union members pay scale in the area for years to come and now he wants to lock it in for six years. He allowed ABC to never join our pension plan.Yeah he's f@@KING the best negotiator in the Country, for the companies that is.

John Perry makes two hundred grand a year, free car and gas and insurance, free phone and computer and doesn't lift a finger to help the members.
He has 28 relatives working and his ignorant cousin Dizzo and his rat brother Jimmy both call local 82 the "family" buisness.
Looks like he is negotiating for the Perry crime clan.

truckdriver you are not speaking the truth. Do you really want to hear the truth? Because the truth doesn't look favorably on John Perry during our negotiations. So truckdriver, you want to spew lies, I will counter with corroborated truth. Do you want to hear it? Can you handle the truth? Or will John Perry tell you to stop before his reputation is damaged further. It's all in your hands truckdriver, will you admit that you are lying? Will you have the guts to ask for the truth? Your lies will bury you deeper and deeper. What will it be truckdriver?

rattler, I did not want to accept less, that is a bold faced lie. The truth is that I was not even happy with zero for the first year.

I think we got a decent contract. To be honest, I was for a six year deal. I will disagree with Ringmaster though, I don't think the movers have the best contract in the country, but that is my opinion. No need to spread outright lies about me wanting to accept less, it's simply not true. The six year deal works for us. It will hopefully put many of our seniority list guys into retirement. We also thought it would bring everyone who works at Casey's some stability in these difficult economic times. The future will tell us if a six year deal was a mistake or not. Six year contracts are very common within the Teamsters, google it up. Criticizing a contract simply on the basis that it is a six year deal, shows a lack of knowledge of contract negotiations within the Teamsters, nation wide.

are you talking about the movers contract?
you have to be clear, there are 2 contracts. i don't know anything about the movers contract, but the show contract IS the best in the country. i've done many road gigs, and the vast majorit of the show workers i've talked to would love to have our show contract.
let's be specific on which contract we're talking about.

Kuppy did you really read what I wrote? I don't know how I could be any clearer. I was talking about the movers contract.

"I don't think the movers have the best contract in the country, but that is my opinion."

"We also thought it would bring everyone who works at Casey's some stability"

As far as I know, our contract (THE MOVERS CONTRACT) is the only six year contract. Sometimes you need to pay attention to what you read. Please give me one little thing that could be misconstrued that I meant the show contract? There are way more than 2 contracts by the way. I MEANT THE MOVERS CONTRACT, THE MOVERS CONTRACT, THE MOVERS CONTRACT, THE MOVERS CONTRACT. Is that specific enough for you?
